In processing for Scholarship Awardees

  1. Notification of Acceptance
    Scholarship awardees receive official notification of their acceptance into the program.

  2. Scholarship Package Distribution
    Each awardee is provided with a personalized scholarship package, which includes:

    • Customized business cards

    • Executive binder

    • Executive briefcase

    • Personalized laptop

    • Secure cell phone

    • RFID-protected container for cell phones, credit cards, and identification

  3. Awardee Acceptance Dinner
    Scholarship awardees are invited to attend a formal acceptance dinner to celebrate their inclusion in the program.

  4. Orientation Process
    The day following the acceptance dinner, awardees attend an orientation session that covers:

    • The institution’s history and origins

    • The mission statement and goals of the foundation

    • Principles upheld by the institution

    • Schedule of regular events and activities

    • Overview of strategic partnerships with other organizations

    • Internship opportunities available during the summer months

  5. Image Consultation and Professional Appearance

    • Awardees meet with a professional image consultant to discuss guidelines for personal and professional presentation.

    • Awardees are then measured by a tailor to create custom suits, tailored in accordance with the image consultant’s recommendations.

  6. Health and Wellness Assessment

    • Awardees undergo an initial medical assessment with a general practitioner (Dr. Kumar) to document any specific health needs.

    • Awardees meet with a nutritionist to establish a personalized dietary regimen designed to support cognitive development.

  7. Identity Protection Seminar
    Awardees attend a seminar led by an identity protection specialist to learn best practices for safeguarding personal information.

  8. Pre-Scholarship Training Program
    Prior to the start of the academic year, awardees complete a pre-scholarship training program during the summer. The curriculum includes:

    • Competitive Cognition

    • Case Studies in Counterintelligence Operations

    • Counterintelligence in a Democratic Society

    • Spies, Subversion, Terrorism, and Influence Operations

    • Political Warfare: Past, Present, and Future

    • Foreign Propaganda, Perceptions, and Policy

Awardees are fully equipped with the tools, knowledge, and skills to thrive in the program and embody the mission of the Soldiers to Statesmen Foundation.
